Enrollment

The School Year begins in the Fall and ends in mid-June. Our Summer Term “Camp” runs for eight weeks, mid-June to mid-August. Children are placed into primary care groups and assigned to a particular teacher, according to their chronological age, developmental age and requested schedule. The child to teacher ratio is from 7:1 to 10:1 depending on the age group of the children. The younger the child the lower the ratio.

Eligible Ages

All students must be at least 2.9-5.3 years of age by Sept. 1st, of the School Year in which they are applying and toilet-trained by the first day of school. Children may be enrolled 2-5 days per week, Morning (9-noon) or Extended Day (8:30-2:30). Children are eligible for the 2010-2011 School Year if their birthdates are between 6/1/05-3/1/08. Openings and Placement

Open Enrollment for new families begins in Mid-January at our annual Open House. New Families may submit New Student Applications for the upcoming School Term starting that day. Our school year begins in late August and ends in mid-June. Our classes typically fill from the applications submitted at the Open House. Parents will receive confirmation by Feb. 1st of placement or wait list information through the mail after completing and submitting the application form and nonrefundable $100 application fee. If the classes fill we will retain a wait-list and place new students should space become available.

Program Tours

Please feel free to call if you have any questions about our program. If your child will be “age-eligible” to start school next school term you are welcome to schedule a tour. Appointments for tours are made for: 9:00, 9:30, 10:00 or 10:30a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday mornings.
